Frequently asked questions

The questions we get on almost every first call, answered the way we answer them on the call.

Working together

How quickly can you start?

Two to three weeks from a signed engagement. The first two weeks are audit and measurement work: account access, tracking verification, a data review and a written plan. We do not launch campaigns before conversion data is trustworthy, because launching earlier means optimising against numbers we know are wrong.

What is the minimum commitment?

Three months for Foundation and Growth retainers, six months for Scale. After the initial term the agreement continues month to month with 30 days' written notice on either side. Project work has no ongoing commitment.

Do you work with businesses outside Singapore?

Yes — most of our clients also sell into Malaysia, and several into Indonesia, Hong Kong or Australia. We are based in Singapore with a four-person office in Kuala Lumpur, and we work in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and Tamil. For markets where we have no operating experience we will say so rather than learn on your budget.

Who will actually work on my account?

A named strategist from our leadership team leads every retainer and attends every review call, supported by channel specialists and our in-house creative team. The person who sells you the work is the person who runs it. If they leave the company, you interview their replacement.

How often will we speak?

Foundation: a monthly 45-minute review plus a written report. Growth: fortnightly check-ins and a monthly report. Scale: weekly working sessions and a quarterly business review with your leadership. Between calls we are reachable by email and shared Slack channel during Singapore office hours.

Can we start with a single project instead of a retainer?

Often that is the better route. An audit at S$4,500 or a measurement rebuild at S$6,500 gives you a clear picture and a plan you can execute internally or with us. Around a third of our retainer clients started with a one-off project.

Money

Do your fees include advertising budget?

No. Our fee covers our team's work. Advertising budget is paid by you directly to Google, Meta or LinkedIn wherever the platform allows, so you can see exactly what was spent. Software licences, stock media, creator fees and production are quoted in advance and passed through at cost with the supplier invoice attached.

Do you charge a percentage of media spend?

No. Fees are flat monthly amounts. Percentage-of-spend models give the agency a financial reason to recommend a bigger budget, and we would rather remove that conflict entirely.

What if our budget is smaller than your recommended minimum?

We will tell you on the first call. Below roughly S$4,000 a month in media, paid search in a competitive Singapore category struggles to gather enough data for automated bidding, and our fee becomes a large share of your total spend. In that case we suggest an audit plus training, a project build, or an organic-only engagement — or we recommend waiting.

How does invoicing work?

Monthly in advance, payable within 14 days by bank transfer or PayNow. Singapore GST is added where applicable. Project work is billed 50% on signature and 50% on delivery.

Can you help with Enterprise Singapore grant applications?

We can prepare scope documents and quotations in the format grant applications require, and we have done so for several clients. We are not a pre-approved vendor and we have no influence over whether an application is approved. Any claim otherwise from any agency should be treated with suspicion.

Results and reporting

Can you guarantee a ranking, a ROAS or a number of leads?

No, and neither can anyone else honestly. Search rankings and auction results are determined by platforms we do not control, and outcomes depend on your offer, margin, competition, seasonality and follow-up speed. What we do commit to is a written quarterly forecast with a stated range, the assumptions behind it, and an honest account each quarter of where we were wrong.

How soon should we expect results?

Paid media typically shows a meaningful signal in three to eight weeks and a stable cost per acquisition around the 90-day mark. SEO usually takes three to six months for the first clear movement, longer on a site with technical debt or a weak link profile. Anything faster than that is either a very broken starting point or a very small market.

What is in a monthly report?

What we changed and why, what happened, what we are doing next, and the numbers against the agreed targets — with a link to the source dashboard so you can check any figure yourself. Reports are written in plain English by the person who ran the work, not generated from a template.

Who owns the accounts, data and creative?

You do, throughout. We work inside your own Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and CMS properties, never a shared agency account. On termination we hand over documentation, dashboards and creative source files within 10 working days at no charge.

Do you use AI in your work?

Yes, for research summaries, first-draft structure, creative variant production and data analysis. Every published word and every campaign change is reviewed by a named person on our team. We do not publish unreviewed generated content, and we do not bill AI output as human hours.

Compliance and data

How do you handle personal data under the PDPA?

We act as a data intermediary for client data, with data processing terms in every contract, documented access controls, and Nadia Rahman appointed as our Data Protection Officer. Our own handling of enquiry data is described in the privacy policy. For campaign-side obligations we run a seven-point audit at onboarding, described in our PDPA checklist for marketing teams.

Will you work with a competitor of ours?

Not in the same category and market at the same time. Where a potential conflict exists we disclose it before proposing, and we will decline the second engagement.

Are there industries you will not take on?

We do not work on gambling, adult content, unlicensed financial products, cryptocurrency speculation, or health claims we cannot substantiate. Beyond our own preference, several of these categories are restricted or prohibited by the advertising platforms themselves, and we are not interested in workarounds.

What happens to our data if we leave?

Access to your accounts is revoked at your request, working files are handed over, and personal data we processed on your behalf is deleted or returned within 30 days of the final invoice being settled, except where we are required to retain records for accounting purposes.
